Work Desk, which is web-based, enables users to easily manage underwriting
requirements and process the electronic responses from service providers,
the results of which can be stored in the applicant database

which includes the workflow and automation management interfaces

Shared
Components, such as the CRM interface and the report processor, enable
you to access Client Relation Management data and reporting services
for IGO management respectively
Security
authentication occurs according to the names of users entered by the
system administrator, and their roles and responsibilities determine
the views, menu bar selections and associated actions.
Rapid
development of business components using Focus Solutions goal:technology,
which is an XML-based data capture toolkit. Milliman's STEPSolutions
is a JAVA-based application that enables automation of insurance business
processes. All web services use the SOAP protocol and IBM WebSphere.
The
Open Business Architecture consists of three layers: Application, Transport
and Services. The Open Business Data Store uses the ACORD OLifE standard,
allowing for enterprise access of VPAS®
Life data. The ACORD standard TXLife transaction, which leverages XML,
is the request and response methodology for the NBF web services.
The
New Business workstation enables users to maintain the status of applications,
CWA, and so forth, because the IGO workflow engine routes documents
to personnel or processes associated with application fulfillment.
