Retirement Services - Business Analyst
Position
Summary:
This
persons serves as an expert in providing complex business and processing
expertise for McCamish products. Possesses specific expertise
in application of knowledge regarding defined contribution plan administration,
and corporate non-qualified benefit plans. Assists in providing
expert guidance on new product development to prospective clients and
internal resources.
Essential
Responsibilities:
- Provides
point-of-contact role for clients using products - providing knowledgeable
guidance for the most efficient use of systems and services offered

Performs a lead analysis role in providing system and industry expertise
during procurement and formulation of client's system and design requirements
-
Gathers and defines the end user's business requirements
-
Provides estimates for system enhancements based on the client's business
needs
-
Maintains and coordinates modifications to client specific production
and non-production regions.

Serves as the liaison between the users and developers representing
client-specific issues and solutions. Assumes the lead role in ensuring
all significant client issues are resolved routinely and without significant
client impact.

Routinely is on call during after-hours to address and help resolve
production issues - receiving and addressing requests and issues from
clients and internal processing groups during second and third shifts.

Provides analytical expertise during design whiteboards

Develops detailed business scope and business specification documents
for more complex system enhancements

Documents, performs and validates unit/functional testing

Supports the analysis, technical and quality assurance members of
the project team

Performs internal and external walkthroughs of business specification
documents

Develops test plan, test design, and test case documents
-
Performs internal and external walkthroughs of testing documents
-
Performs usability and integration testing
-
Validates expected results and provides output for internal and external
client sign-off

Supports model office and user acceptance testing
-
Defines and reports testing issues and supports re-testing efforts
-
Acts as mentor within the department using advanced interpersonal
skills.
- Responsible
for providing leadership and direction and coaches junior members
of the department.

Routinely addresses critical problems, researches complex problems
and resolves them through development of specialized solutions
-
Coordinates testing among multiple team members, assumes responsibility
for unit testing, and remains apprised of any testing issues throughout
the project life cycle

Routinely provides training to internal and external clients.

Troubleshooting as required
Qualifications:
- Six
plus years in the retirement plan administration or mutual fund industries
and/or three plus years of experience with McCamish Systems or related
products
-
In-depth knowledge of deferred compensation, defined contribution
administration, and the mutual fund administration industries

Ability to work independently with little or no direction

Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong desire to provide superb
customer service
