Accountant
This
position reports to the Manager of Financial Services.
Position
Summary:
This
person provides intermediate level accounting support to the Manager
of Financial Services and Finance and Director of Finance, as well
as to all other departments that have financial activities within
the organization.
Responsibilities
and Duties:
- Coordinate
daily separate account reconciliation procedures in accordance with
client requirements
- Provide
year-end support for client separate account reporting
- Coordinate
monthly account reconciliation process including establishment of
standard procedures to ensure that all service level agreements have
been processed
- Manage
client general ledgers and/or data store including processing of all
manual journal entry transactions
- Manage
client audits
- Provide
accounting support for client implementations/projects to ensure accounting
requirements are identified and included in future projects
Education/Experience
Requirements:
- Bachelor's
degree with concentration in accounting
- Minimum
of 4 years of accounting experience working in a financial services
environment. Variable accounting experience preferred.
- Must
have intermediate to advanced level of Excel and Word experience,
and committed to maintaining confidentiality
- Must
have strong customer service skills to both internal as well as external
clients
- Must
work well within a team environment
- Must
be a self starter and be able to work on assigned work without significant
supervision
Desirable
Qualifications:
- Experience
with MAS90 is a plus
